Steve has been an interactive developer for 12 years and has been developing medical device simulation applications for the last 10 years. Most of that work was done while working for Battelle Memorial Institute, the largest privately owned research and development company in the world. While at Battelle, he was also involved in creating the first clinical medical device that utilized Flash as the user interface for the system. Steve received a B.A. in Communications from Bowling Green State University.

Rob has more than 15 years of experience in the IT field and is an expert in developing distributed dynamic intranet/internet applications, relational database design and programming, and a variety of languages and environments. He has worked as the lead developer on projects for Biomet, Liebert, BankOne and Nationwide. Rob has a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University. He is a certified Microsoft Software Engineer.

Shane Searles

With his educational background in bioengineering, Shane has also been an interactive developer for three years. He has worked on projects for companies in the medical industry such as Biomet and Abbott Labs, using primarily Flash but a variety of other software as well. Developing medical device simulations utilizes an ideal blend of his education and experience. Shane has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toledo.

Equally disciplined in interactive and information architecture design Duane Andrews has over 10 years experience in the field of interface design. An expert in branding, usability and design, he has created a wide variety of highly successful projects from a national JP Morgan Chase campaign to a high-performance American Idol online game bracket tournament. He's produced quality work for quality companies such as Nestle, Farmers Insurance, Lean Cuisine and Cisco to name a few. Duane received a B.F.A from Columbus College of Art & Design.

Dan has more than 25 years experience developing and implementing technology-based simulation solutions. Dan received his B.S. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and his M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. He is also a member of Simulation Councils.

Tammie Anderson

Human Performance Analyst


Tammie has been involved in cognitive research for 15 years, focusing on behavioral analysis. She serves as our Human Factors specialist, and is well-versed in FDA medical device regulations. She received her B.S. in Psychology from The Ohio State University, and is a member of the Central Ohio Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, and the International Society of Performance Improvement.
